Membership
The AACC is a membership organization of African-American Churches who
have covenanted to work for the Kingdom of God in unified ministry.
Membership to the AACC is open to any African-American Church in the
greater Madison area.
What constitutes an African-American church? The Senior Pastor or
co-pastor is African-American.
How can a congregation join? Fill out a membership application and pay
the annual membership dues of $300.00.
How will a congregation benefit from this membership? The AACC
sponsors several programs each year for congregations to take advantage
of. For instance, Holy Convocation, Lenten Services, Fifth Sunday
Fellowship, Neighborhood Bible Study Teams, Bible School, and recognition
of being a part of an organization that will make a major impact in the
community both spiritually and socially.
Which church is the oldest African-American church in the Madison
area? The oldest AA church in the Madison area is St. Paul AME Church
(over 100 years).
